Conference Proceedings published - 13th NATO Operations Research & Analysis Conference

Keynote by Ms. Christine Fox - Assistant Director, Policy and Analysis at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.

It is our pleasure to publish the proceedings of the 13th NATO Operations Research & Analysis (OR&A) Conference co-organized by NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO). The central theme for the 2019 conference was Challenges for NATO OR&A in a Changing Global Security Environment. The annual conference is the single event for NATO OR&A practitioners to meet face-to-face and work together in workshop venues that collect outputs to be applied to future products for the Alliance and nations.

The 2019 event, held in Ottawa, Canada from 7th  to 9th  October 2019, brought together approximately 140 OR&A experts from NATO commands and agencies, national defence analysis and research organisations, Centres of Excellence, academia and industry as part of the continuous development of a NATO OR&A Community of Interest building on the success of previous OR&A Conferences and Workshops. The conference was organized around five streams that were tied to the theme: Strategic Decision Making, Wargaming, Methodology in Analysis, Data Driven Analysis and Analysis in Operations.

The Conference Proceedings have been published on the NATO STO website and contain the conference booklet,  presentations, papers and the conference summary. Please note that parts of the proceedings are marked NATO Unclassified, Releasable to PFP and Australia. To access these files STO credentials are required.
