Conference Proceedings published - 14th NATO Operations Research & Analysis Conference (2020)

It is our pleasure to announce the publication of the proceedings of the virtual 14th NATO Operations Research & Analysis (OR&A) Conference co-organized by NATO HQ Supreme Allied Command Transformation (SACT) and the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO). The central theme for the 2020 conference was Emerging Disruptive Technology. The annual conference is the single event for NATO OR&A practitioners to meet and exchange information to be applied to future products for the Alliance and its Partners.

The 2020 event, held virtually, brought together close to 400 OR&A experts from NATO commands and agencies, national defense analysis and research organizations, Centers of Excellence, academia and industry. The conference, as part of the continuous development of a NATO OR&A Community of Interest building on the success of previous OR&A Conferences and Workshops, was organized around streams that were tied to the theme: Strategic Decision Making, Wargaming, Methodology in Analysis, Data Driven Analysis and Analysis in Operations.

The Conference Proceedings have been published on the NATO STO website and contain the conference booklet, presentations, papers and the conference summary. Please note that parts of the proceedings are marked NATO Unclassified, Releasable to PFP and AUS. To access these files STO credentials are required. These can be obtained through the NATO STO Collaboration Support Office (SAS Panel Office).

The 15th NATO OR&A Conference will take place 18-19 October 2021 in the beautiful city of Madrid in Spain. The Programme Committee has chosen ‘Decision Advantage in The Information Age’ as this year’s theme and is exploring ways to organize the conference as a hybrid event, accommodating both physical and virtual participation. The Call for Papers will be issued in March, with registration opening in July 2021.
