Background

Different organizations use different codes to perform analysis of missile propulsion, hindering collaboration because results can't easily be compared across organizations, especially if an organization's code uses proprietary assumptions. A unified tactical missile propulsion analysis code was developed under AVT-236 to offer a common reference tool and enable collaboration across the NATO community.

Objectives

The objective of this AVT-321 Technical Course is to introduce the tactical missile propulsion code developed under AVT-236 to the NATO user community and teach them how to use the code. These steps are necessary to achieve widespread use of the code. Without increasing the user base, the code can't fulfill its intended purpose as a common NATO reference tool
