Unprecedented Technology Development and Applications are changing the Battlespace

What is the impact that technological developments have on security, defines and conflict? What is important and what challenges do we have to face to keep our military technology edge over our peer competitors? What we do and what we should do more in order not to be technologically outrun in a mid-term and long-term future? How should EDA and NATO work together?

With unprecedented and ever-growing technological developments, these and similar questions are already regarded as the new normal when talking about defence, security and the nature of the conflict. These new, technologically-driven, military capabilities do not only drive changes in current defence and security field, but also bring new concepts (hybrid warfare, hyper-war, memetic warfare) and pose fundamentally different challenges for providing the security and defence of EU and NATO countries.
