Many defence and security-based organizations around the world are examining diversity and inclusion strategies to improve organizational team performance and effectiveness. Stemming from HFM-RTG-301, this book provides international perspectives on diversity and inclusion across team-based environments, including the factors that promote effective team-based performance and cohesion in multinational defence and security settings. Topics include: gender-based diversity, ethnic diversity and racism, evidenced-based diversity, methods and models for examining diversity and inclusion, team leadership, and future strategies that focus on the potential impacts and opportunities for enabling diverse and inclusive team-based organizations. The proposed book will use novel approaches to understand the current challenges impacting team diversity and inclusion in defence and security (e.g., the challenges emanating from the COVID-19 pandemic in establishing greater diversity and inclusion across communities). This book is tentatively planned to be available in spring/summer 2022. More information about this topic? Please contact Dr Barbara T. Waruszynski or Prof Dr Yantsislav Yanakiev. Published by HFM |
